Simposio 549: "Self-Organisation and new institutionality in the current wave of transition in Latin America" - ICA 2012

Simposio para el 54 Congreso Internacional de Americanistas, (Viena, 2012): Self-Organisation and new institutionality in the current wave of transition in Latin America.

Coordinadores: Zimmering Raina (Department of political and development Studies, Johannes Kepler University Linz Austria); Azzellini, Dario (University of Johannes Kepler, Linz, Austria).

Convocan a los interesados a enviar sus propuestas de ponencias (título, resumen de entre 1.000 a 2.000 caracteres, 3 a 5 palabras clave, nombre del ponente, grado académico e institución de adscripción) a los coordinadores antes del 31 de agosto de 2011.

Además, para formalizar la presentación de la propuesta de ponencia será indispensable enviarla utilizando el formulario en línea en la página del ICA.

Breve fundamentación del simposio: This symposia shall explores the influence of s elf-organisation and a new institutionality on the current state transformation processes in Latin America, and their relation to each other. The core question is how s elf-organisation and a new institutionality initiated changes of government, constituent processes, the emergence of new forms of state and democracy, a new institutionality, new development stategies and social distribution mechanisms, the construction of distinct socio-cultural spaces below and above the nation state scale, new gender relations, a changed relationship with nature, and cultural transformations.
